ANNUAL EVENTS

  • Music Festival - 5/18/2008

Come and join us as we celebrate our spiritual music!  Choirs and soloists from IFC-member congregations perform for us, and then join each other at the end as one combined, unified choir to perform two final pieces.  Every year this is a wonderful concert!  This year our guest director is Ann Strickland of Grace Episcopal Church, and the combined choir will sing two pieces: Love In My Soul (a prayer adapted by Kathie McCarthy, music by Bainbridge Islander Caroline Clucas), and MLK (words and music by U2, arr. Bob Chilcott).  Free admission.  3:30 pm at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church (11042 Sunrise Drive NE, BI)

  • Earth Day - 4/19/2008

This year we tackled ivy again at Pritchard Park and had a great turnout despite the crazy weather.

  • Baccalaureate

An event that has become a Bainbridge tradition, students, parents, and volunteers from the IFC, organize this spiritual celebration for all graduating seniors.

Baccalaureate 2008 will be held at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church (11042 Sunrise Drive NE, BI) at 3 pm on Sunday, June 8th.  All graduating seniors from Bainbridge Island, regardless of school, are invited to participate in their caps and gowns.  For more information, please contact Patricia Lahtinen (patricialahtinen@msn.com).

  • CROP Hunger Walk -  9/28/2008

CROP Hunger Walk raises money for hunger fighting projects locally, through Helpline and Fishline, and globally with various international partners.

  • Thanksgiving Service - 11/25/2008

Each year, on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, we join together to give thanks with lovely song, stirring poetry, and heartfelt prose. This is also an event that collects food for the Helpline Food Bank.
