Scott James from Bainbridge Prepares gave us an excellent talk titled – Love, Not Fear. Born out of sustainable Bainbridge, it is now 12 years old. They are in need of new leads for the faith-based teams and would like a long-term relationship with IFC. If interested contact bainbridgeprepares.org/faith. Resource pamphlets are available at City Hall. They have teamed up with numerous disaster agencies – Fire dept., police, city, public health, etc., to coordinate preparedness efforts. We are considered one of the best prepared communities in the country. Their focus is to build group resilience and preparedness through love not fear and need us church communities to spread the word.
