Samantha Fairweather from KIAC gave a wonderful introduction to the good works that Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center does. She also noted they can always use more help as the needs are great. With only a team of 12 they operate with 200 active volunteers and up to 600 non-regular volunteers to serve 1000’s each year. Volunteers are always needed. They need help holding food drives, people as medical volunteers, interpreters, youth activities, etc. Please check out their website to understand more of this amazing group.
